CONCERNING
IMPROVEMENT OF THE DECREE OF THE MINISTER OF FINANCE
NO. 291/KMK.05/1997 ON BONDED ZONES

THE MINISTER OF FINANCE,

Considering :

that to improve an investment climate and increase the growth of domestic industries, it is deemed necessary to improve Decree of the Minister of Finance No.291/KMK.05/1997;

In view of :

• 1. Law No.10/1995 on customs affairs (Statute Book of 1995 No.75, Supplement to Statute Book No.3612);
• 2. Government Regulation No.33/1996 on bonded stockpiling sites (Statute Book of 1996 No.50, Supplement to Statute Book No.3638);
• 3. Decree of the Minister of Finance No.291/KMK.05/1997 on bonded zones.

DECIDES:

To stipulate :

THE DECREE OF THE MINISTER OF FINANCE CONCERNING IMPROVEMENT OF THE DECREE OF THE MINISTER OF FINANCE NO.291/KMK.05/1997 ON BONDED ZONES

Article 1

To improve Article 10 paragraph (7) of Decree of the Minister of Finance so that it reads as follows:

"Article 10

(7) The release of goods already processed by PDKB for the purpose of DPIL may be done by using import, notifications (PIB/BD 2.0) according to the customs procedure in the import sector, after there has been the realization of exports and/or the release of goods to another PDKB :

a. for components, namely goods or materials which will be assembled and/or combined with other goods or materials in the assembly or manufacture of goods which are of high degree, and whose authentic characteristics are different from those of the previous products, amounting to a maximum of 50% (fifty percent); and

b. for other goods, amounting to a maximum of 25% (twenty five) percent of the value of export and/or the release of goods to other PDKB."

Article 2

This decree shall take effect as from the date of stipulation.

For public cognizance, this decree shall be announced by placing it in the State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia.
